strike adventure
so yesterday was the due date of mom’s credit card account and it was the day when “PISTON” opted a bicol wide strike. i had no choice but to venture out and try to go and come home just to pay in due time the amount stated by the bank.
it was already 9 am and i have no one to be with so i went to my cousin ad dragged her to go to Legazpi city. on the terminal, an ordinary bus(not air-conditioned) stopped in front of us. we were having second thoughts if we will be riding it. we didn’t… several minutes passed and we regret that we did not ride the first bus. then at about 12:30 pm, there came another bus. again, not air-conditioned, shakey, overloaded(standing), but we had to deal with it just to get to our destination.
halfway to Legazpi, my cousin got my attention as she was looking at me and pointing something outside. it was the bus that we didn’t ride. it broke down and all its passengers were waiting outside for another vehicle to pass so they could ride and go wherever they need to. pity them.
so ayun nga.. dumating kami not in legazpi but a town away from it and we have to pay the fucking tricycle driver P100 just to reach the place. i understand the price. it follows the Law of Supply(LOL. namiss lang si estacio haha)
okay so we got to the mall and headed to the comfort room immediately. then we left it and went to BDO, Metrobank and a nearby Petshop. after that, we went back to the mall and went to Bayantel to pay for my cousin’s internet bill. tas kumain kame sa greenwich ng lasgna at spag + garlic bread. Greenwich’s garlic bread is the only garlic bread i enjoy. then finally, it was time. i used the GC givent to me and bought a shirt. i bought a purple(they say it’s purple but it looks more like blue violet tsk tsk), black and white stripe polo shirt worth PxXx.75.
it was now time to go home. luckily, when we went out the mall, there were two jeepneys passing the terminal, one full and one empty. so we rode on the empty one and we got the seats nearest the exit and paid P14(buti na lang di pwede magtaas ng presyo ang jeep haha. so ayun pagkababa ng erminal, swerte pa namin kasi kahit overloaded ulit yung nasakyan namin, last trip na yun at nakahabol kami. yey!
considering there was a bicol-wide strike, it was one hell of a day full of fun and adventure not knowing what lies ahead, unsure if we will be able to get home. xD haha take the risk but be sure that you know what happens if you fail.
